style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-equilibrium gas flows play a critical role in numerous industrial sectors and underpin a wide range of technological applications. These include fluidic micro-actuators for active aerodynamic flow control, vacuum generators, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">low-pressure systems, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">microsensors for flow and temperature, pressure gauges, micro gas analyzers, and micro heat exchangers used in electronics cooling or hermal management in chemical processes. <\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In such systems, interactions between gas molecules\u2014both within the gas and with solid surfaces\u2014play a pivotal role. However, many challenges remain unresolved, hindering further technological advancements and the optimization of designs. Addressing these issues is essential to fully exploit the potential of non-equilibrium gas transport phenomena. <\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The conference aims to foster progress in this field by encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers and engineers from academia, research institutions, and industry. By bridging these communities, the event seeks to drive innovation and strengthen both fundamental research and practical applications.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NEGF conference series, held every three years, began in 2012 on Skiathos Island, Greece, organized by the University of Thessaly.\u00a0Subsequent editions were held at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2015, at the University of Strasbourg in 2018 (<a href=\"https:\/\/microfluidique.insa-toulouse.fr\/conferences\/mflu-negf-2018\/\">NEGF18<\/a>), and again in Eindhoven in 2023 (<a href=\"https:\/\/negf23.sciencesconf.org\/\">NEGF23<\/a>).
