connues de d\u00e9bordement de cours d\u2019eau. Le m\u00eame constat est dress\u00e9 dans de nombreux autres pays europ\u00e9ens. Ces d\u00e9sordres, dispers\u00e9s sur le territoire et ne correspondant pas \u00e0 des d\u00e9bordements directs de cours d\u2019eau, sont aujourd\u2019hui rang\u00e9s dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab ruissellement \u00bb. Leur importance et leur fr\u00e9quence imposent leur prise en compte dans les politiques de pr\u00e9vention.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si les facteurs de pr\u00e9disposition et de d\u00e9clenchement sont de mieux en mieux connus et si des strat\u00e9gies locales sont parfois d\u00e9finies pour pr\u00e9venir ce type d\u2019inondations, il n\u2019existe pas de consensus sur les outils scientifiques et techniques pour le diagnostic et l\u2019\u00e9valuation du \u00ab risque ruissellement \u00bb et sur les strat\u00e9gies de pr\u00e9vention \u00e0 mettre en place. De nombreuses questions restent pos\u00e9es concernant les sinistres de type \u00ab ruissellement \u00bb. Quels sont les intensit\u00e9s et la nature exacte des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes qui les provoquent ? A quels types de d\u00e9sordres correspondent ces sinistres ? Est-il possible de d\u00e9terminer par anticipation les secteurs potentiellement expos\u00e9s et d\u2019\u00e9tablir des cartes d\u2019exposition et de risques ? Quel est le niveau de fiabilit\u00e9 des m\u00e9thodes cartographiques et quelles sont les principales sources d\u2019incertitudes ? Quelles mesures de pr\u00e9vention peuvent \u00eatre mise en \u0153uvre pour r\u00e9duire les risques associ\u00e9s au ruissellement ? Peut-on r\u00e9duire les risques par des am\u00e9nagements collectifs ou individuels adapt\u00e9s ? Faut-il envisager la d\u00e9localisation d\u2019enjeux tr\u00e8s expos\u00e9s ? Peut-on mettre en place des dispositifs de pr\u00e9vision et d\u2019avertissement d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux gestionnaires de crise et \u00e0 la population ? Comment estimer les valeurs maximales (d\u00e9bits, hauteurs) atteintes en l\u2019absence de capteurs ou suite \u00e0 la destruction de ces derniers lors d\u2019\u00e9pisodes remarquables ?<\/p>\n<p>Pour autant, les d\u00e9cideurs locaux se doivent aujourd\u2019hui d\u2019anticiper et de g\u00e9rer les risques de ruissellement sur la base des connaissances actuelles, des moyens et des outils \u00e0 leur disposition. L\u2019\u00e9change de retours d\u2019exp\u00e9riences issus des territoires est, dans ce contexte, fondamental pour progresser collectivement, partager les r\u00e9ussites, identifier les difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 surmonter et contribuer \u00e0 la d\u00e9finition de r\u00e9ponses et de strat\u00e9gies d\u2019actions adapt\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Ce colloque vise \u00e0 favoriser ce partage de connaissances et d\u2019exp\u00e9riences entre scientifiques, ing\u00e9nieurs, responsables et acteurs de la mise en \u0153uvre de politiques de pr\u00e9vention. Une place importante sera accord\u00e9e aux retours d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de terrain, \u00e0 la valorisation des exp\u00e9riences internationales, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation des approches par la confrontation avec les dommages effectivement observ\u00e9s, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation des limites des approches ou m\u00e9thodes qui seront expos\u00e9es. Le colloque est focalis\u00e9 sur les d\u00e9sordres et dommages li\u00e9s \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements rares, relevant typiquement du dispositif d\u2019indemnisation Cat Nat.
